CitizenCard Limited is a non-profit company which operates the following:

1) CitizenCard proof of age/ID scheme;

2) 100% Proof licensee awareness campaign; and, 

3) No ID, No Sale! retail awareness campaign.

The Board of CitizenCard comprises representatives of:

	Association of Convenience Stores
	Camelot
	Co-Operative
	Experian
	Ladbrokes
	National Federation of Retail Newsagents
	Tobacco Manufacturers' Association

CitizenCard was launched on 15^th February 1999 by then Home Office Minister George Howarth MP.  On a cold morning in Croydon, 200 students received their CitizenCards from Scottish celebrity Gail Porter.
